Thankful

We are grateful!!! What a packed thanksgiving week we had. Nathan got his first haircut, and he did pretty well--until the clippers came out...but he loved his lollipop!! We had a beautiful Thanksgiving- great food, great company- we are so very thankful.

All Stars..seriously

How cute is my rocking out son? We were playing guitar hero at my parents house the other weekend, and Lucas really wanted to try, so we let him, and he actually hit a lot of the notes!!! He was very serious too, it was awesome. Josh was envious of his musical talents..at three.

Also, last night, after we gave him a bath, Nathan was playing around in his crib. We have been trying to make him use sign language and he wouldn't. But last night, josh just asked him if he wanted more, and he signed with no problem!!! When a milkshake is involved, it is obviously easier!!!! My two talented boys:)

Kamikaze Nathan

Nathan is a little dare devil...great. Every time he sees a pillow, he throws his arms up and dives into them with his eyes closed, over and over again. It is so funny. Even Lucas thinks it is hilarious and makes him do it. Nathan is walking completely , so he is a happy camper, and so are we.

There are also pictures from my dad's retirement party. It was a great night, many people love and admire him...no surprise here!!!

I love that my boys have Josh for an example. Lucas was so great today trying to help his dad as much as he could, and I know that is from watching his dad. We were in the back yard playing with leaves for awhile today. Nathan wasn't sure what to think, but Lucas sure loved it. Nathan is walking everywhere now, but he can't do it unless his arms are way up in the air- so cute.

Halloween NIght

Another wonderful night at the Mitchell house. Both boys were Doctors, and looked so dang cute. Lucas took it very seriously and kept checking everyone and giving them shots. Rik made white chille again this year, which we hope to make a tradition:) We started with a huge group of kids, but we knew Lucas wouldn't stay up with them since he kept having to check everyone's heart and give shots. The temperature was beautiful, and so were the memories!!!

Plus, my dad dressed up like John Mcain at work...did he really need the gray spray????
