We finally spent the night at Cedar Point with the grandparents. Josh slept on his parents boat with Nathan and I slept on my parents boat with Lucas- and all worked out great. Lucas got really brave all of a sudden and wanted to ride all of the driving rides....it was sad in a way..no more need for mommy's lap. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun!

Good old county fair
So everyone has to do it at least once a summer, right? Mom, Keri, Gena, Ben, the boys, and I went to the good old Summit County fair on Thursday night. Lucas loved the tractors, playing a fishing game(where he won that yellow ball), and all of the animals- Nathan loved the lights and watching his brother run around, but mom accidentally put his stroller too close to a pig and he got scared to death from a snort. Poor guy.

Library time
We went to the Kent Free library today for music story time with Riley, Adelyn, and Avery. It was really cute. Lucas didn't know how to handle how goofy the story guy was so he was trying so hard not to laugh, then he broke down and got hysterical. Nathan was dancing and having a great time too. To tell you the truth, even the moms got into it:) Especially Alissa...

He got a hair cut!!
So obviously the kid has not had many hair cuts in his life, but he was so cute today. We went to get a cut, well sort of, I asked her to keep it long of course, but he was so excited to go to the "barber" - not even sure how he knows what that is. I asked him to keep still and he did so well that he wouldn't even look up at me to smile at the camera:) He sure looks cute, even if he does have Bon Jovi's hair!
The other pictures are from dinner last night. Rene and her boys- soon to be another!!!!

Growing fast!
Well, sadly, the army crawl is no longer. Nathan has mastered crawling on all fours at an incredible speed. In fact I doubt that will even last very long since he loves to walk along the couch and what ever else he can grab. We keep bringing toys up from the basement that Lucas liked at that age, and it is Christmas all over again. The most recent favorite is the blue tunnel. Nathan has grown up so much the last few weeks. He already likes to enjoy a nice cigar after dinner.....It is fun to watch Lucas play with him like a brother now, not just a baby who doesn't do anything:) We have had a great week of well pool, pool and more pool. Someone has to do it.

Boating with the boys:)
It is official- Lucas is a boat junky. He absolutley loves it. We have not had him skiing yet, but we hope to this summer! He loves to drive the boat, really drive it- Josh just tells him where to turn, and he LOVES to jump in with his life jacket on. Nathan is still trying to figure out the whole thing, he doesn't quite understand why he doesn't have much balance when he tries to crawl around:) We know in a blink of an eye they will both be tubing, skiing and boarding!!

I love Summer
Dance Lessons!!!!
On July 8th, Josh and I celebrated 15 years together- 8 married(we started dating the same day we got married) Can you believe it!! Half our lives already, and it is such a great relationship! I love that man. I mean, who wouldn't love a man willing to take dance lessons. Yeah that is right, Josh and I are taking dance lessons and having a lot of fun. I don't know what is better, watching Josh try to count, or the actual dance part. We rock at the Rumba now. Well sort of.

Grass Growing!
What a weekend! Friday the fourth, Mosaic(mosaicneo.com) was in the Stow parade promoting a free soccer clinic. Lucas got to drive Pappa Rik's truck the whole time- with McKenna in the passenger seat- while mommy pushed Nathan in a stroller handing out candy and soccer balls. It was fun, but I tell you what, people turn into animals when there is free stuff involved! wow.
Then we headed up to Cedar Point on Saturday where we had some fun at the water park and on the boats with the grandparents. Nathan started clapping at the pool! Now he wont stop, even was doing it as he fell asleep:) Lucas was so exausted from the day that he fell asleep within a minute of leaving!!

Wisconsin Dells
I have entered the blogger world!!! I just thought this would be a good way to update family and friends! We are all doing great. Lucas is still running like crazy- talking a lot more- and saying the funniest things. Nathan wants to stand on anything he can hold- loves to do the worm-and does not like to sleep...
We just got back from Wisconsin Dells. We went with our good friends the Snows. They have two girls the same age as Lucas and Nathan- and even with all the naps, crying, pushing and yelling, we had a great time!! Lucas is swimming underwater and treading water a bit, and Nathan loves to splash as fast and as much as he can. Great memories!!!
